--Appalachian State's three pointer by Chris Burgess with twelve seconds left in overtime, and the Mountaineers beat Georgia Southern 64-62. The Eagles CJ Reed made a three with nine seconds left to send it to overtime. What a tremendous game this was.....--Samford and Elon are now tied for the lead in the SoCon North at 5-2. Elon goes to The Citadel on Saturday, while Samford has the day off.
--Three games between the North and South this weekend. Elon visits The Citadel. Davidson goes to Appalachian State and Georgia Southern heads to Western Carolina. This is a huge weekend for the South if they want to get back into this race. A 2-1 weekend would be huge.
--College of Charleston at Wofford? Should be huge. I know Wofford is just 2-5. But the Terriers could easily pull an upset at home against the Cougars. The Cougars have been better on the road than at home though. We'll see.
