--Chattanooga's trip to Elon and Samford's trip to UNCG will be huge in the SoCon North race. Elon and Samford (along with Western Carolina) seem to be setting themselves apart from the rest of the division. Chattanooga and UNCG need wins to get back into the North race.--Georgia Southern heads to Appalachian State. This is a very important game for both teams. The Eagles need to get back into the win column after the disappointing loss to The Citadel. The Mountaineers are at home, needing to bounce back from an 0-2 road trip. We'll see...
--Z Mason for Chattanooga won SoCon Player of the Week. He earned it. I have been saying for weeks that Mason is turning into one of the SoCon's best players, and he is. Not sure if he deserved Player of the Week or not, but he earned it as much as anyone. I'm happy for Mason. He's a very good. (My bias is creeping in....Go Mocs!)
