--Scanning the SoCon will be available later on today. Baby duties kept me away from it on Sunday. I apologize for being a day late.--UNCG's loss to Furman and Georgia Southern's loss to The Citadel were equally puzzling over the weekend. The Spartans are looking a little dead in the water at this point. The Eagles wins over Davidson and College of Charleston were stunning, but their loss to The Citadel continues to show why it is such a head scratcher.
--The race for the SoCon byes are huge. There is no telling what happens from here. Right now Davidson, Samford, WCU, and Elon are in the best shape. Who saw the North as the division that would get three teams byes this year? No one saw that as a possibility preseason. I wouldn't bet against 2 and 2, but I'd be surprised if the South gets three byes at this point.
