--Adejhi Baru of College of Charleston was named SoCon Player of the Week. He had three double-doubles in three games last week. That's pretty solid work for the Cougars big man. He shot 57% from the floor.--Check out King Kresse's review of the CofC-The Citadel game on Monday.
--Purple & Gold has a nice preview of the Samford game coming up on Thursday. That is a monster game in the North Division.
--The official statement on Tom Tankelewicz and his eligibility. The Catamounts are hoping the NCAA will rule him eligible. We'll see. Until he comes back, the Catamounts may struggle more than they previously.
--Wofford and UNCG battle on Wednesday night. It sounds a little odd, but this game is huge. Both teams have been struggling and are 1-3. The loser falls to 1-4, and is in real trouble in the bye race- something that both teams thought they would get this year.
