--It was a night of "almost" for the SoCon on Wednesday night. Chattanooga was tied with Georgia Tech in the second half. Davidson was tied in the second half with Duke. Georgia Southern was within two of UAB in the second half. None of them won. It was a night of close, but not quite for the SoCon. --Wofford heads to Tulane on Friday night. Tulane is 9-0 at home. Doesn't look like a game the Terriers should think they will win on Friday either.
--Andrew Lawrence was named SoCon Player of the Week. The College of Charleston star lead the Cougars to a 4-0 record. He averaged 16.8 points per game, 4.5 assists, and four rebounds per game during that stretch. Very deserving of the award.
