ANALYSIS

Wow. Another stunning loss by a team from the South on Thursday night. College of Charleston fell to Samford. At home no less. Now, the North is up 6-1 on the road against the South. That is the most stunning part of this early edge for the North against the South. They have played seven games at South teams and four games at North teams.  Yet, the North is still winning 8-3. Over the remainder of the regular season, there will be seventeen games played at the South, and twenty games played at the North. The North needs to win just seventeen games over the rest of the way to win the regular season title, which virtually no one thought would be possible just a few short weeks ago.
