Huge week for the second bye in the South race. Wofford and Georgia Southern are the two big favorites to get that spot at this point.
When they battle on Thursday night in Statesboro, second place will be on the line for these two teams. Wofford won by 25 points earlier this year at home. Can the Eagles get the home court advantage and make it work to their benefit in this game? Two wins (on Monday against Furman and Thursday against Georgia Southern) will go a long way to giving the Eagles the number two seed, which they desperately need to have a real shot in the tourney. Wofford also could use a bye, since no team that has ever won four games in four days. Huge game for these two teams on Thursday night.
