ANALYSIS

The South put away the battle with Davidson's demolition of Samford and Wofford's win over Elon. UNCG was able to keep it from being a clean sweep for the South today, and Western Carolina will be favored to beat The Citadel tomorrow in Cullowhee. But it's too little too late for the North, who has lost the regular season battle. Of course, if the North has s solid finish they can catch the South in the SoCon Tournament, but that is highly unlikely. If things went perfectly for the North, they would only be able to go 6-0 against the South in the SoCon Tournament. Not only are the odds largely in favor of the South being the more likely division to go 6-0,  but the odds of the North getting it to 26-22 (which is what it would have to be for the North to overtake the South in the tournament) are pretty slim as well. There are three games on Saturday, two where the North is the home team, so the North could make up some ground between Thursday and Saturday, but it is all just semantics now.
