ANALYSIS

In a very strange twist, Elon never trailed College of Charleston until the second overtime, and even lead by seven in the second overtime, only to see the Cougars have a chance to win it as time ran out. The Cougars fought tooth and nail to get the win, but couldn't get it done. In the end, Elon and UNCG both took home games for the North, cutting into the lead that the South has.

Technically, on Saturday the North has a chance to regain the lead, as there are six match-ups between the North and the South that day. But in two games, the North team will be a heavy underdog, as Chattanooga goes to Davidson and Samford goes to Wofford. In three others, it is at best a toss up as Charleston visits Appalachian State, Georgia Southern goes to Western Carolina, and UNCG heads to Furman. The only game that looks to be solidly in the North's favor is Elon will be hosting The Citadel. Should be a very interesting Saturday afternoon as the North tries to make things a little bit closer with the South in this battle, and the South tries to expand their lead.
