1) Elon's trip to Wofford is captivating. The Phoenix are in bad need of a win. They have fallen a game behind UNCG in the race for the number one overall seed in the North, which would be huge. They are the number two seed at this point. A loss could put them in danger of losing the bye altogether. Wofford is the current number three seed. They can get to the number two seed still, but could also fall to the number five seed if everything went wrong. So both teams need a win. Who can win in Spartanburg? Wofford is the favorite, but it's a huge game and no one can know where it is going for sure.
2) That balances the Cougars trip to visit UNCG. These two games will go a long way to determining the one and two seeds in the North along with the three and four seeds in the South. This is going to be a huge game for the Spartans. It will get the full focus on the blog tomorrow. The Spartans won in Charleston earlier in the year. Can UNCG possibly win again and really help themselves in getting a bye? Sure. Could the Cougars possibly win again and really help themselves in getting a higher seed in the South race.
