1) Could Elon possibly lose to The Citadel tonight? Anything is possible. The Phoenix is really struggling right now. They have failed to beat Dartmouth and Columbia, two teams they should have beaten- not to mention the home game against Georgia Southern, a team nearly everyone thought the Phoenix would beat. So, now the Phoenix have to travel to The Citadel, a team that has been really struggling. The Bulldogs beat Samford at home on Saturday night. Can they pull off two in a row? The Phoenix are the clear favorite, but with the way Elon is struggling, we should not guarantee victory for them.
2) Two players are in the Top 12 in the country in three pointers made per game in the country. Chattanooga's Omar Wattad ranks seventh in the country. Keatin Cole of Western Carolina ranks twelfth. While free throw shooting is one of the best things that the conference has going for it, the three point shooting is not far behind. Wattad and Cole have proven to be some of the best three point shooters in the country.
