1) Charleston was a rocking place on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs were blasted by Charleston Southern, proving that The Citadel is not anywhere near the top of the Battle for the City of Charleston. Charleston Southern will head to College of Charleston on Saturday- which may be a tougher spot than you might think for the Cougars. Coming off their exhilirating win over Tennessee, the Cougars will need to get control of their emotions and calm down in order to take care of Charleston Southern. College of Charleston is good and all and should win by double digits, but they need to ready themselves for this one.
2) Another comment- Antwaine Wiggins was brilliant on Wednesday night. Wiggins made everything he threw up. He had 24 points, eight rebounds, and three assists on 10 of 12 shooting. He did make only 1 of 5 from the free throw line, but Wiggins showed real senior leadership in this game. Lots more to say on this matter, but they have already been said. Wiggins certainly jumped back to the forefront in the SoCon Player of the Year race.
