1) Why will Davidson struggle to get anyone to win Player of the Year? I think that can best be answered in the Scanning the SoCon for this week, when three different guys got picked as the Player of the Year at this point. Jake Cohen, JP Kuhlman, and De'Mon Brooks all got picked by different guys. It also explains why they are one of the biggest threats to win the conference championship, and also a threat to pull some upsets in the NCAA Tournament. Getting Player of the Year? Probably unlikely.
2) Such a light week of games this week, but....how about those battles in Charleston? Charleston Southern plays both The Citadel and College of Charleston. The battle for the city bragging rights is on the line this weekend. The Citadel has already lost to the Cougars, so the Cougars are the big favorites to win the city title. But this should still be some of the entertaining games in a light week of games. Let's see if the Bulldogs can get to second at least.
