Daily Dribbles- 12/11/13

--The Mocs had a lousy night on Tuesday night, trailing by 6 late in the first half, before pulling away for an 18 point win against Hiwassee. Z Mason poured in 41 points. Great night for Mason. Lousy night for the Mocs.

--Furman wasn't so lucky. Mars Hill, a D-II school, took down the Paladins, 97-93. Mars Hill shot 50% from three point range, 52.9% from field goal range, and the Paladins committed 33 fouls. Ouch.

--Tanner Samson from Elon won the SoCon Player of the Week for last week. He leads the league at the moment with 3.3 made three pointers per contest.

--Davidson heads to Niagara tonight. Fingers crossed for a win for the SoCon out of conference.

--UNCG againt Claflin on Wednesday at noon. Should be an easy win for the Spartans, but we've seen too many of these go the wrong way in the last few weeks.
