The Wildcats and Commodores are hooking up in the first round of the Old Spice Classic. After two disappointing losses for Davidson this past week against New Mexico and then Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Wildcats get another shot at a couple of big names in Orlando.This is a game that Wildcats will almost be expected to win. After all, Vanderbilt is completely retooling after the last few years. But sometimes for SoCon teams, being expected to win against a team from a Power Six conference can be even more difficult than coming in and playing the underdog. This is going to be a brutally tough tournament for Davidson.
This game will be going on Thanksgiving Day. So if you are eating too much turkey, and think that you would like to see what the Wildcats have in store this year, this may be the game for you. Davidson is too good to keep on losing forever. Eventually, they will come up with a few wins. The chances of getting an at-large bid are slimmer than ever for Davidson. If there is a chance, they need to win some games in this tournament.
