--Western Carolina finally came up with a win over Howard on Wednesday afternoon in the Cancun Challenge. It was not a great win for the Catamounts, but hey, a win is a win at this point for any SoCon team. --In truth, it was a really good day for the SoCon. Samford did lose to Toledo, but not only did Western Carolina beat Howard, but Elon beat South Carolina, and Georgia Southern beat Kennesaw State. Again- it's not much, but a win's a win for any SoCon team at this point. A 3-1 day fo the SoCon? Yes, please. Can we have another?
--Samford and Davidson both have games on Thanksgiving. Samford will play Alcorn State. Davidson battles Vanderbilt. Can the SoCon momentum continue? A couple of wins would go a long way to helping the SoCon.
--It's Thanksgiving, and I would like to say thank you to all of you that make college basketball so much fun to watch- including SoCon basketball and Mocs basketball....even when it's not going well.
