--Virginia Tech's win over UNCG was a good one for the Spartans. Derrell Armstrong and Trevis Simpson were amazing. They scored 48 points. Let's face it- if Armstrong and Simpson play that well for the Spartans in SoCon play, they will battle Elon to the end for the North title.--The Mocs are 0-2 in the CBE Classic. They will take on Louisiana Tech in the final game of the round robin today. The Bulldogs are 2-0. Doesn't look good.
--Western Carolina-Austin Peay in Cancun may be the SoCon's best chance for a win on Tuesday. According to KenPom, they have a 63% chance of winning, whereas every other SoCon team in action is an underdog.
--Furman came up with a win Monday night. But it was over Brevard. That counts for something....but not much..
0-4 on the night, can it get any worse?
