Daily Dribbles- 11-16-12

--Opportunity Day went by the wayside for the SoCon, mostly. The Mocs got beat by 14 at Kansas after leading by twelve in the second half. Louisville hammered Samford by 26, 80-54, after trailing by 29 at halftime. Wichita State beat Western Carolina 79-63. St. John's beat College of Charleston by 11. Best performance may have been the Mocs, though Charleston did not disappoint, and even Western Carolina was in striking distance late. Still- no wins for the SoCon, so another opportunity wasted.

--Charleston will get to play Auburn at home today in the Charleston Classic. The Tigers lost to Murray State by 20 in the first round, and it wasn't that close. This should be the first win for the SoCon over a major conference team.

--Some more opportunities today for the SoCon. UNCG goes to East Carolina in a big game for the Spartans. Furman gets to host the ACC's Clemson. Wofford goes to Ball State. Appalachian State goes to Campbell. Chances for the SoCon to come up with some OOC wins. Some OOC wins somewhere.
