ANALYSIS

This week, there are fourteen conference games, and eleven of them feature North teams vs. South teams. So the battle for the best record between the two divisions will come down to this week. The South is the big favorite, but the North still has a shot heading into the final week.

The biggest battles left in seeding are Chattanooga and Western Carolina fighting for the number one and number two spots out of the North, and Furman and Wofford battling for the number two or number three seed out of the South. With Wofford travelling to Furman on the last day of the regular season, that game is the SoCon Monster Game of the Week. Both Wofford and Furman take on Chattanooga this week, too. That means that there is a lot of meaning in those early week games between Chattanooga and the Terriers and Paladins.

Of course, College of Charleston's trip to Western Carolina could be a match-up of the two number seeds in the conference. Also, the Catamounts travel to UNC-Greensboro, and the Spartans have been playing well. Will they finally be able to pull one out against one of the better teams in the conference? That is a really interesting Monday night game as well.

What will I be doing Monday night? Watching the Mocs take on Furman on Chattanooga All Access, but keeping an eye on the free feed of the Western Carolina-UNCG game. Should be a thrilling final week of the regular season. Hard to believe it's already here. Two weeks from tonight we will be on the eve of the tournament. Can't wait.
