--Elon has won seven straight games, thanks in large part to SoCon Player of the Week Lucas Troutman, who averaged 22.5 points and eight rebounds per game. Troutman is certainly one of the SoCon's better players. Very deserving of the honor.
--Appalachian State's Nathan Healy reached the heights of 24 points, eight rebounds, and seven steals on Saturday against Western Carolina. He became the first player to reach those marks all in the same game this year in the entire country. Impressive.
--Furman was dominating The Citadel on Saturday night...until the Bulldogs scored 60 second half points. That was the third best half against a SoCon team in the Bulldogs history.
