--Rumor on Thursday night has it that Jay Canty is almost ready to resume basketball related activities for Appalachian State. No word yet on what that means in terms of his return.
--Jordan Potts of UNCG hurt his hand and did not play on Thursday night. It is unclear when he will return. He did dress, but did not play.
--The five byes look more clear than ever before at this point. The fifth place team (Western Carolina) is up by a game and a half on the sixth place team (Georgia Southern).
