--SoCon This Week will be out tonight. --Mocs lost to Eastern Kentucky on an icy night in Richmond on Tuesday. It was an 11 point EKU win over the current SoCon leader.
--As expected, Davidson's DeMon Brooks won the SoCon Player of the Week award for this week. He earned it.
--Only four players rank in the Top Ten in scoring and rebounding in the SoCon- Lucas Troutman, Z Mason, Tim Williams, and Kyle Cain. Cain is the one that may surprise some people who haven't been paying attention. Cain is really good.
--Where is Brooks on that list? He hasn't appeared in 75% of his teams games, so he is not eligible to be listed yet. He would be in the Top Ten in both if he had played in enough games. Assuming he plays on Thursday, he will have played in 75% of his teams games (18 of 24). Then he'll join those in the Top Ten in both.
