--A weekly guide to the SoCon schedule is in this thread on UNCGFans. Always well worth the read, and the bookmark for the week. --Furman stepped up to the plate against Presbyterian on Sunday and delivered a hard knocking win for the SoCon. Was it unexpected? Not really- but the 24 point win was not expected. That's for sure. The Paladins made a big step.
--Only two more games between now and Saturday- one is Chattanooga's trip to LSU and one is Anderson heading to College of Charleston. A very dull week on the SoCon docket this week.
--The Davidson win over Wofford pushed the Wildcats to 2-0 in SoCon play, but showed quite a bit about the Terriers too. The Terriers have not fallen off much, and are going to be right in the hunt for the final bye (along with Western Carolina and UNCG, assuming College of Charleston, Davidson, and Elon get the other three).
