The Mocs are trying to get over .500 for the second time in the last few weeks against The Citadel on Thursday night. They were over .500 ever so briefly back in December after beating Montreat. They were 7-6. That was followed by losses to Georgia State and Austin Peay.
The Mocs are still two games under .500 on the season against D1 teams. They need to beat both The Citadel and Samford this week to get back to .500 for the first time since beating Marshall and being 2-2.
The Mocs have not been over .500 against D1 competition all season long so far. They need to win their next three games to get there. That would include a very affirming win over College of Charleston a week from today. Can the Mocs possible win all three? I suppose.
This is a tough two week stretch coming up for the Mocs. The trip to The Citadel, followed by home dates with Samford and College of Charleston and trips to Furman and Wofford are coming up. This is a huge stretch for the Mocs.
