GerVaughn McGee Signs National Letter of Intent

Lost in all the talk of yesterday's showdown with Butler is that GerVaughn McGee became the third to sign with the Mocs during the early signing period.

The wing is a shooter. He has a solid mid-range game, but can step back and knock down the three. Someone mentioned that his physique reminded him of Kevin Goffney, and when you look at him, that makes a lot of sense.

McGee has potential to be a solid contributor when he comes up. He visited with Casey Jones, who remains committed to the Mocs but says he is not going to sign during the early signing period.

According to reports, he is athletic, can really jump, and can take over the game without forcing the issue. This is a nice addition to the team next year. He is from Louisiana, and should be considered a force in the coming years.

This is another nice signee for the Mocs as they have put together a good early signing class.

GO MOCS!
