--What in the world happened to Samford? Another terrible performance for the Bulldogs. I can't quite figure out why they are struggling so much- but they are. That was not supposed to be a good team they played in UL-Monroe. Didn't matter. The Warhawks were dominant. Samford didn't make a three pointer until under four minutes left in the game and were defeated 86-52.
--Elon fought hard in the Preseason NIT battle with Drexel. The Phoenix only had one offensive rebound. That was how they lost this game. The Dragons won 71-64. The Phoenix put up a good fight though. That would have been a nice victory.
--Not surprising that The Citadel lost to Tennessee. It was a pretty solid performance by the Vols against the Bulldogs.
-Two SoCon games on Tuesday night. Lees-McRae takes on Appalachian State and Chattanooga hosts Kennesaw State. A chance for the SoCon to pick up a couple of wins tonight....maybe. Never count your chickens before they hatch.
--Appalachian State signed a couple of guys last week. T-Dog discussed how they won't play for Capel next year (ha!) and I'm throwing out there that they won't play in the SoCon. But here's another look at them.
