--It's time. Time for your daily source of news in the SoCon. From now until the end of the season, there will be something every morning about SoCon basketball posted at 5 AM Eastern. Check back daily.--New to the blog this year- The Dork Tour, a column about basketball, beer, jokes and stories by a couple of Davidson fans as they travel to SoCon games. Should be a whole lot of fun. Check it out....
--Another new feature for Mocs fans- each day at 10:00 AM, a list of Mocs D-1 out of conference opponents games for that day will be on the blog, along with every SoCon game happening that day. Each night, scores will be posted on each of those games. It will help us to better analyze the Mocs past and future opponents.
--All eleven SoCon opponents play on Friday night. Six teams play non-D1 teams. Five play D1 teams. Ouch. The first game on the schedule is Friday afternoon when The Citadel heads to VMI to play in the All Military Classic. That's at 3:30 PM on ESPNU. ESPNU is Home of the SoCon on Friday. The Citadel plays VMI and then Duke plays Davidson in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Should be a fun day on The U.
