--Samford held off Kentucky State on Sunday afternoon, 76-73. Samford's not particularly good at this point. --Elon held off Columbia in overtime to even up their record at 4-4. The Phoenix have been struggling, but are starting to play a bit better, it would appear.
--The Citadel lost to non-D1 West Alabama over the weekend by thirteen points. The Bulldogs were down 23 at halftime. That's ugly too.
--Davidson did manage to survive at Stetson and win by six points. The Wildcats are now 2-5. They're trying to figure out how to play without DeMon Brooks. It will take time, but they'll figure it out.
--Only one SoCon game on Monday- the Mocs trip to Georgia to take on the Dawgs, who have played three SoCon games already, and have two remaining.
--Go out to Kenpom.com, subscribe, and then sign up for a SoCon team as your favorite team. Make the SoCon look good over there- as a conference that subscribes to what is probably the best analytics out there.
